PSA: Baldur's Gate 3 Isn't D&D

Baldur's Gate 3 is a great videogame. It's a terrible D&D game. Baldur's Gate 3 utilizes the D&D 5e (2014) rules to fuel its gameplay, but in terms of writing and story, it has little in common with an authentic game of D&D.
I see your point. I love playing D&D, but in Baldur's Gate 3 I found it stressful to explore every single corner of every location in case I was missing something important to get a good ending.
Trash take. It’s a good D&D video game
